The Best MONTAUK BARS for your current DRINKING Mood
Table of Contents
Why do New Yorkers head out to The Hamptons as soon as summer Fridays start? Well if you’re headed to Montauk and most other places in the Hamptons, chances are to drink will be a main reason. There are more Montauk bars then you might think so I’ve made up this guide to help you pick your poison.
What type of drinker are you?
If you know me, you know I’m a pretty laid back kind of drinker. I like drinking in the park, I like drinking in the dark, I like drinking on the beach or on boat.. you get the idea.
Though I usually prefer casual establishments, I also don’t mind a frozen drink at a pricy resort. I like feeling a little fancy sometimes.
And this is why I love Montauk.
Where some of the other hamlets in the Hamptons lack, Montauk makes up for exponentially. You can drink it all in Montauk. From dive bars to classy bars to party bars and hard to get into bars, you’ll find it here.

You’ll need a bracelets to get on to the main floor where the band is, which means buying a table, otherwise you can hang behind the stage and won’t see a thing.
